Marco the Little Chef

Now Available

Marco the Little Chef will take you and your kids on an adventure to find the ingredients needed to make a delicious homemade macaroni and cheese meal for the whole family. Throughout their journey, Marco and his dog, Pepperoni, travel to China and Italy to learn about different types of noodles and pasta. In Italy, Marco and Pepperoni learn how pasta was originally made and how the process has changed over time. They continue their journey through Italy to France to learn about different types of cheeses, such as mozzarella and brie. They finally stop in England, where they learn how cheddar cheese is made.

When the reading is done, the cooking lesson can begin with a complete recipe for making homemade macaroni and cheese with your own little chef. The best part is that the story ends with a full and happy tummy for all.

“Educational read for curious children…Joy Papini manages to pack a surprising amount of easily digestible (hah, pun intended) information about geography, food-making, and cooking into just a few pages through her imaginative concept of the Pasta Express.” – Readers’ Favorite
